Believe it or not, we met on a dating app. We matched because we had so much in common: both divorced, both cancer survivors, both parents. Through late-night chats, we discovered shared passions—sci-fi, fantasy, music, art, gaming, and so much more.

믿거나 말거나, 저희는 데이팅 앱에서 만났습니다. 공통점이 많아 만나게 됐죠. 둘 다 이혼 경험이 있고, 암을 이겨냈으며, 부모라는 점까지요. 매일 밤늦게까지 대화를 나누며 저희는 공상과학, 판타지, 음악, 예술, 게임 등 수많은 공통된 관심사를 발견했습니다.

We were cautious at first, determined not to rush. But our emotions grew faster than we expected, and before we knew it, we were inseparable—because we fit together perfectly.

In June 2023, we traveled to Kalamazoo, Michigan, with pride to watch Ambre’s youngest son, Edric, graduate from middle school.

This February, we welcomed our first grandchild—Ambrose, baby to Rowan. Our family keeps growing: four children, and one grandchild!
